At FIVCO Area Development District, we believe in developing future leaders. Our internship program gives college students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community and economic development, social services, and regional planning while serving the FIVCO region.

Areas of Opportunity

Interns may work in one or more of the following divisions:

  • Community & Economic Development – grant writing, planning, and project support.
  • Social Services – aging programs, outreach, and resource coordination.
  • Waiver Services – program support, case management assistance.
  • Administration – communications, public relations, and organizational support.

Eligibility

  • Students enrolled in an accredited college or university (undergraduate or graduate level).
  • Recent graduates (within 12 months).
  • Strong interest in public service, economic development, or social impact.

Program Details

  • Location: FIVCO Area Development District Office, 32 FIVCO Court, Grayson, KY, 41143
  • Duration: Flexible semester or summer placement (minimum 10–15 hours/week)
